href="/profile/Tyler-Palko/1171">Tyler Palko - Continued to display poor arm strength. He rolled out of the pocket alot during the scrimmage, but he was touched down by the defender each time. Even though he got the passes off, they would've been sacks in a real game. Troy Smith - Wasn't very impressive today. He fumbled multiple snaps and threw an interception in the scrimmage. Thomas Clayton - This was his first practice having replaced the injured Garrett Wolfe. He was the most impressive running back for the North team. He displayed good speed and quick feet, breaking several long touchdown runs to the outside. He did have a fumble in the scrimmage and he dropped a touchdown pass in the redzone drill. Brian Leonard - Displayed surprising speed, breaking a couple long runs to the outside. He broke alot of tackles along the way. Tony Hunt - Had a couple nice runs to the outside but he didn't run well between the tackles at all. Rhema McKnight - Continued to be the most consistent receiver on the North squad, catching practically every pass thrown his way. David Clowney - Ran poor routes and continued to catch passes with his body. Jason Hill - Dropped a few passes early but returned to form later on in practice. Aundrae Allison - Had another solid day and made a nice one-handed grab in the scrimmage. Ben Patrick - This was his first practice having replaced the injured Clark Harris. We didn't see him drop any passes and he made a great diving catch over the middle during the scrimmage. Ryan Harris - Performed well vs. Jay Moore in pass protection drills. Levi Brown - Dominated most of his opponents in pass protection drills. He did let Jay Moore slip to the inside of him on one play, reslulting in what would've been a sack. Adam Carriker - Continued to dominate his opponents both in the running game and the passing game. Amobi Okoye - Worked at both defensive end and defensive tackle during pass rush drills. Got consistent penetration from both positions. Ran over Dan Mozes on one play. Looks as though he could play DE in a 3-4 or DT in a 4-3. Jay Moore - Beat Levi Brown for a sack on one play but struggled against Ryan Harris. H.B. Blades - Appeared to have injured his hand. Aaron Rouse - Looked better in coverage than the previous two days. He had an interception in the scrimmage. Josh Wilson - Looked bad in coverage, getting picked on all day. Mason Crosby - Had a good day hitting on field goals of 50 and 52 yards that would've been good from even further away. Team interest: Texans - Amobi Okoye Vikings - David Patterson, Ben Patrick, Josh Wilson, Marcus McCauley Bengals - Scott Chandler, Marcus McCauley Browns - Jay Moore, Troy Smith Ravens - Josh Wilson, Leon Hall Dolphins - Tony Hunt Saints - Prescott Burgess Panthers - Tyler Palko, Josh Gattis Giants - Paul Posluszny Chargers - Jason Hill, Doug Datish, Levi Brown Jets - Paul Posluszny Raiders - Manuel Ramirez Ravens - Aundrae Allison 49ers - Brandon Mebane, Marcus McCauley Broncos - David Clowney Titans - Jason Hill Press Conference Notes: Coach Gruden -They will install their 2 minute offense on Thursday -Adam Carriker could play end in a 3-4 or tackle in a 4-3 -Amobi Okoye is an intelligent person and a difficult player to block. You can't tell he is only 19 years old when you watch him play. |
