Ahmad Carroll, or "Batman", is a very athletic corner who excels in man to man coverage. He is a track guy who is very fast from the stand-still and holds a few records in the 60m dash. He does not have great instincts and is not a huge playmaker, but he is a very good cover man with few weaknesses in coverage. He is very physical and will come up and make plays in the run game. He does tend to get a big head and try to make a play in the passing game.. sometimes getting burned because of it, but he is not a guy who is going to get you a ton of interceptions or pass deflections. He needs to take less risks and work on route recognition. He has the talent to go in the first round, but as an overall player I see him as more of a second round talent that needs a little time to progress.
