Alex Wade is another running fullback entering the draft this year. He has an excellent running ability for a fullback his size, having tied Duke's single-season record for 100-yard games with six as a junior, including a 165-yard performance against Wake Forest. In addition to his running ability, Wade is also an excellent leader both on and off the field; he was elected team captain by his teammates--a huge honor for a fullback. Wade ran for 1,412 yards on 318 carries (4.4 yard average) and scored 11 times on the ground in his time at Duke. He showed his versatility adding 52 receptions for 494 yards (9.5 yard average) in four years. Wade really needs to improve his blocking to excel at fullback in the NFL. He will most likely be drafted for his excellent size and ability to run the football. Player News Feed
