Analysis
Brandon Marshall is a versatile player who has started at receiver and safety during his time at Central Florida. He has an excellent combination of size and strength for a receiver. He is a big, physical receiver who can defeat the jam and uses his body to put himself in position to make the catch. He lacks great speed but he does have good speed for a player his size and he will make plays down the field. He isn’t afraid to go over the middle and make a difficult catch in traffic. He has reliable hands but he does need to work on catching the ball with his hands away from his body every time, rather than letting the ball hit his body. Marshall is also a very capable blocker. Brandon Marshall lacks a great deal of experience at the receiver position, having been a quarterback in high school and having spent the majority of the 2004 season playing safety. With really just one full season of starting experience at receiver, Marshall is still raw and needs to work on the little things such as his route running. He has all the tools to develop into a good receiver at the next level and should be a second day pick in the 2006 NFL draft. Player News Feed
