Analysis
Charlie Peprah is a versatile player with a great deal of experience against top competiton, having started the past four seasons at corner and strong safety for Alabama in the SEC. During that time he has proven to be a very durable player. He finished his career with a streak of 45 consecutive games started. Charlie is an intelligent player and an extrememly hard worker. He has good range with the ability to make plays all over the field. He takes good angles to the ball carrier, sheds blocks, and is a solid wrap-up tackler. He lacks great speed but is solid in coverage with good ball skills. Charlie is a bit of a tweener in this year's draft. He has played both corner and strong safety in college, but will probably have to play free safety at the professional level due to his lack of ideal size and strength for strong safety, as well as his lack of speed for the cornerback position. He should be a second day pick in the 2006 NFL draft. Player News Feed
