Analysis
Chris Kuper has a good combination of size and athleticism for an offensive lineman. He has a great deal of experience, having started at right guard for the past three seasons at North Dakota. He has a real “mean streak” which you like to see in an interior offensive lineman. He is a strong at the point of attack and is a great run blocker who is athletic enough to get to the second level and take out a linebacker. He has good footwork in pass protection but still could improve his technique in that area. Chris didn’t play against top competition in college. He would benefit from bulking up and increasing his strength and he does have the frame in which to do so. Chris Kuper is still a bit raw and will take some time to develop; however, he does have some upside and he could be drafted late on the second day of the 2006 NFL draft. Player News Feed
