Courtney Watson is a great leader who can also play outside linebacker. He has excellent speed for a middle linebacker and has very good coverage skills. He is good against the run, but could improve--he needs to be more physical and make more plays behind the line of scrimmage. After a stellar junior season, Watson was given many accolades: one of three finalists for the Butkus Award, given to the Nation's top linebacker; an ESPN.com first-team All-American; and a preseason All-American. Watson has the required skills to be a three-down middle or outside linebacker in the NFL and should be a 2nd round pick in April.
