The NFL broke new ground over the weekend with a streamlined draft. The Indianapolis Colts followed suit. With no glaring needs and nine picks in hand, they invested one-third to upgrade their offensive line. It marked the first time since the draft was reduced to seven rounds in 1994 the Colts picked three O-line prospects.

My best NFL Draft advice for the Jaguars: If you can get Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor for two or three draft choices without sacrificing the No. 26 overall selection, pull the trigger. As well-stocked as the Jaguars' roster is, it's doubtful eight draft picks will make the team anyway.
