Big and strong for an outside linebacker, DJ Williams has good speed and instincts and of all the linebackers in this year's draft is in my opinion the surest bet by far. There are no questions about his weight, no need for him to bulk up, no potential for lost speed and playmaking ability. Perhaps Dansby has more potential, Boulware more raw speed, but Williams will make a faster impact and will make the team that selects him better immediately. The top linebacking prospect for 2004, DJ Williams should go in the top 20 and start from day one.
