121 TACKLES (21 for loss), 11 SACKS Analysis
A Junior College transfer, Demorrio Williams led Nebraska with 92 tackles in 2002. Demorrio has the speed to make plays all over the field and the pass rush ability to haunt opposing quarterbacks. He put his pass rush ability on display a senior, recording 11 sacks in 2003. He recorded 3 sacks in one game, a school record, against Utah State and 2 sacks in consecutive plays against Texas A&M the previous week. He is excellent in coverage, but lacks the size and strength required to take on larger offensive linemen. Demorrio needs to add alot of bulk to be successful in the NFL. But his playmaking ability cannot be ignored. He could be moved to safety in the NFL. I see him as a 3rd round pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. Player News Feed
