Undrafted Analysis
Jammal Brown has been starting at right tackle in Oklahoma for past three seasons. He was forced to redshirt his freshman year due to a knee injury. He split time as a redshirt freshman, then took over as the full-time starter his sophomore year. He has good size and long arms to keep the defenders away from his body. He has quick feet and is one of the better pass blockers in the draft—he only gave up one sack during the entire 2003 season. He is probably the most athletic offensive tackle in this draft. He needs to get stronger and work to improve his run blocking skills. He lacks the "mean streak" that is common with most of the top offensive linemen. He is not yet an elite prospect and there is some concern that he may not be able to make the switch from right tackle to left tackle, effectively decreasing his draft value. He should be a mid to late first round pick on draft day. Player News Feed
