Analysis
Jeff King has a good combination of size and athleticism for a tight end. He has been starting for the past two seasons at Virginia Tech and has proven to be a very durable player during that time. He is an intelligent player and a hard worker who leads by example. He has good hands and will make tough catches in traffic. He lacks elite speed and won't make many plays downfield, but he is an excellent short to intermediate range receiver. King is also a pretty good blocker although this is an area where he could still show improvement. Jeff King is a solid, all-around tight end who is good but not great in just about every area. He should be a second day pick in the 2006 NFL draft. Player News Feed
