A solid passer with good accuracy, Jeff Smoker is an enigma. Talent-wise, he'd pretty good. Not great, but good. He lacks a rocket arm, and is at his best spreading the ball around on the underneath routes. But he's been in some trouble off the field that lead to questions about his character, and if there are major character issues about a player with only above average skills, is it worth using a draft pick on him? Reports seem to indicate he's overcome his problems, but we'll see. As far as his worth, that's a question that won't be fully answered until draft weekend.
