Analysis
Jerome Harrison has good speed and quickness for a running back. He has good balance and his speed allows him to get outside and turn the corner. He is an elusive open field runner who is a threat to take it the distance at any time. Though he lacks great size and strength, Harrison is a tough runner who will break some tackles and gain additional yardage. He also has pretty good hands and has proven to be a reliable receiver out of the backfield. Jerome Harrison doesn’t have a great deal of experience against top competition, having only started a year and a half since transferring from Pasadena City College. He lacks ideal size and strength for an every down back and he isn’t a great inside runner. This lack of size does raise questions about Jerome’s durability as well as his ability to carry the load over the course of a full NFL season. If he can improve his blocking ability, Jerome could make a good third down back at the professional level. He should be an early second day pick in the 2006 NFL draft. Player News Feed
