Undrafted Analysis
Joey Thomas has the size/speed combination that everyone wants in an NFL corner. He is over 6' tall, nearly 200 pounds and runs a 4.4 in the 40. He's an aggressive player who completely dominated the competition he faced while at Montana State. The the big question on him is the fact that he has not faced any NFL-caliber recievers in his career. There are lots of small-school corners who excel in the NFL, though, which gives teams hope that he can acclimate himself to the speed of the game fairly quickly. He needs some work on his technique, as well. He's not going to be the type to walk in and start right away, but after a season or two he should be primed for a starting position. Expect him to go in the 2nd or 3rd round. Player News Feed
