Jones, the younger brother of Thomas Jones, is a shifty-speed back. He is elusive and a very good open field runner. He holds the Notre Dame School record for most yards in a single game, with 268 yards against Pittsburg. Although Jones was not used much as a receiver at Notre Dame, he does have the potential to grow into a great receiving back. His pass blocking is raw and his technique needs to be improved in this area. Jones is a late first to early second day pick.
