Undrafted Analysis
Junius Coston is one of the best sleeper prospects in the draft this year. He has a very good combination of size and speed for an interior offensive lineman. He played both guard and tackle at North Carolina A&T before moving to center as a junior where he started his last two seasons. He has good initial quickness and is very powerful at the point of attack. He has quick feet and does a good job of using his hands in pass protection. His athletic ability is most apparent in the running game. He does a good job of pulling and can get to the second level to take out a linebacker as well. He needs to do a better job of sustaining his blocks. He wasn't a great student in college, but he understands blocking schemes and does a good job of making calls at the line. Coston is a tough player who has the "mean streak" you like to see in an offensive lineman. He is a little raw, but he has all the tools to develop into a very good starting center in a few years. Level of competition in college may hurt Coston, but he could prove to be a real gem for the team that drafts him on the 2nd day of the 2005 NFL draft. Player News Feed
