Justin Green redshirted at San Diego State in 2001 and transferred to San Diego Mesa Junior College in 2002 where he ran for 874 yards and seven touchdowns. A year later, Green transferred to Montana and was a playmaker from the beginning, rushing for over 1100 yards and 14 touchdowns his first season there. He has excellent field vision and the strength to break tackles and get additional yardage. He lacks ideal speed for a halfback and will be a fullback prospect at the professional level. He has sure hands and is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Green is a very versatile player who can run and catch. The one area he will need to improve on is his blocking. He isn’t very experienced in that area and he needs to improve his blocking technique in order to become a better all-around fullback. He is a developmental prospect who could be a late round pick in April. Player News Feed
