Kendyll Pope is a very athletic linebacker with excellent speed. He ran a 4.57 40 at his pro day, straining his quad 35 yards into it. He has had a serious of nagging injuries during his time at Florida State which could be a cause for concern. He needs to increase size and strength to be an effective linebacker at the next level. He is an excellent tackler and is very good in coverage. He is not afraid to take on larger offensive linemen, but sometimes will lose those battles due to his lack of pure strength. He has all the tools to be a good strong safety in the NFL and such a move could be in his future.
