Undrafted Analysis
Kevin Everett transferred to Miami in 2003 after spending two seasons at Kilgore Junior College. He spent the majority of his junior season behind former Hurricane star Kellen Winslow. Everett finally got to see some significant playing time as a senior, posting 23 catches for 310 yards. Overall he is a good receiver, but at times he will hit streaks where he drops too many catchable balls and he needs to improve his route running. He is a pretty good blocker but he needs increase his strength to be a effective in the NFL. He doesn’t have a great deal of experience as a starter in major college football and when he did start he wasn’t utilized as much as he could have been. Kevin Everett has the combination of size and speed you look for in a tight end and he will most likely be drafted in the third round of the draft. Player News Feed
