Undrafted Analysis
Clarett has helped to make this offseason one of the most interesting in recent NFL history. We all know the stories, so there's no need for me to explain it here. Because of all the offseason rucus, many teams question his character. If he's willing to sue the NFL just to get in the draft, what else is he willing to do. I'd be willing to bet that Clarett holds out on a contract at least sometime during his career. Clarett also has never played a full collegiate season. Sure, he helped Ohio State win a national title by rushing for 1200 yards, but he didn't play in three of the games that season and missed good time in another two. Clarett is more of a between-the-tackles runner, but can bounce it outside to go for the home run, although he won't do that often. He is efficient as a recevier and runs smooth routes. He is willing to pass block, although he will have to work on that before he becomes a truly reliable blocker. Clarett should go in the late second to early third round. Alot of teams question his character and durability, but his potential alone demands that he is picked that high. Player News Feed
