Analysis

Although Michael Turner had great numbers in college, his potential as an NFL back is low. He is a between-the-tackles, durable runner, but doesn't have the pure speed or the burst necessary to take the ball to the house. His competition in college was pretty light, Alabama and Maryland were really his only two challenging games. Turner will probably drafted as a backup/goalline type back. He will not be a full time back until he can improve his pass blocking, receiving, and speed.
