Analysis
Tim Duckworth has been the starting right guard at Auburn for the past two seasons. He has a good combination of size and strength for an offensive lineman. He has a non-stop motor and the mean streak you like to see in an offensive lineman. He is a physical player who is very strong at the point of attack. He can be dominant at times in the running game. He knocks defenders off the ball and does a good job of finishing his blocks. He has the ability to get to the second level and take out a linebacker in the running game. He isn’t the most mobile guy but he has shown flashes where he can get out in front on a screen play and take out a defender. Duckworth has a tendency to play too high at times which allows the defender to gain leverage on him. He has heavy feet and needs to improve his pass blocking. He will be late to recognize and pickup the blitz at times. He is a bit older than most prospects and will be 25 years old in September. Tim Duckworth is a converted defensive tackle who has only been playing the guard position for two years. If he can improve his pass blocking he could develop into a very good guard at the next level. He has a good deal of upside and should be a mid-round selection in the 2007 NFL draft. Player News Feed
