Analysis
Troy Bienemann has a good deal of experience, having started at tight end for Washington State since his true freshman season in 2002. He has good size for a tight end with the frame to get bigger. He does a good job of catching the ball with his hands away from his body and is a very good short to intermediate range target. He lacks the speed to make many plays down the field. He has been a decent blocker but he still could improve in that area. He would benefit from hitting the weight room and increasing his strength to become more of a factor in the running game. Durability could be a cause for concern as he has had minor injuries that have caused him to miss some time. He also had a torn ACL in his left knee that prematurely ended his senior season. He also served as the long snapper at Washington State and could be valuable in that role at the professional level. Troy Bienemann does have some upside and could be a late round draft pick as a backup tight end/long snapper on draft day. Player News Feed
